"5+ years experience. Responsible for expert in-depth analysis of electrical or mechanical troubleshooting to determine problems in non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment used in the semiconductor manufacturing process. Dismantles, adjusts, repairs, and assembles equipment according to layout plans, blueprints, operating or repair manuals, rough sketches or drawings. Has extensive experience/knowledge in at least one or two specific equipment sets (i.e. tool set/model). Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment. Keeps current on equipment manufacturers' technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. Studies equipment performance and reliability. Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations. Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules. Follows standard practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained. Minimum requirement is an A.A.S degree in a technical field, or equivalent military training. BS degree preferred.
